Economics: Logistics (in Polish)

 

The graduate possesses knowledge in the following areas:

  • Market research and analysis for logistics purposes,
  • Structure of logistics systems and processes,
  • Transport and freight forwarding operations,
  • Managerial decision-making in logistics,
  • Trends and changes in logistics.

The graduate acquires skills in:

  • Conducting market and marketing research,
  • Business planning in logistics activities,
  • Designing logistics systems,
  • Using specialized terminology in transportation, freight forwarding, and logistics, including English terms,
  • Solving managerial logistics problems,
  • Utilizing specialized software such as SAP, WMS, ARIS, and transport exchange platforms (with the opportunity to obtain a Software AG Certificate).

Practical skills development is supported by: Classes co-conducted with logistics managers, Visits to companies, Events like "Fridays with Logistics," Logistics workshops, Participation in the Scientific Logistics Circle, Studying abroad through ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS programs.

The acquired learning outcomes enable graduates to:

  • Logistics Manager,
  • Supply Chain Manager,
  • Specialist in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding (domestic, international, rail, road, air, or inland water),
  • Specialist in planning or execution of procurement, purchasing, production logistics, warehousing, distribution, or sales,
  • Mobility Planning Specialist,
  • Specialist in managing sustainable urban mobility,
    (and/or) continue education in a Doctoral School.
