For the second edition of the competition, the following master's theses defended during the 2015/2016 academic year were submitted at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk:

Marta Balejko, M.A., E-mail Marketing as an Example of Direct Marketing Creating Value and Building Communication, supervisor: Marcin Skurczyński, PhD
Damian Tetzlaf, M.A., The Importance of Oil in the Economic Development of Nigeria, supervisor: Hanna Treder, Associate Professor
Anna Pontus, M.A., The Impact of the "Oil Contract of the Century" on the Exploitation of Azerbaijani Oil Fields from 1994 on the Economy of Azerbaijan, supervisor: Tomasz Michałowski, PhD
As a result of the qualification process carried out by the Faculty Competition Committee, two theses were selected for the national stage: M.A. Karol Malinowski's thesis and M.A. Marta Balejko's thesis.
Due to the competition's outcome, among the twelve master's theses submitted by various academic institutions, the following theses received the highest ratings from the reviewers:
1st Prize – a reward of 5000 PLN: Patrycja Judyta Góralczyk, M.A., University of Łódź,
Exchange-Traded Funds in the Polish Capital Market
2nd Prize – a reward of 3000 PLN: Mariusz Maziarz, M.A., Warsaw School of Economics,
International Analysis of Causal Relationships Between Community Values and Economic Growth
3rd Prize (ex aequo) – a reward of 2 x 1000 PLN:
Dominika Stańska, M.A., University of Economics in Poznań,
Shaping Generation Y Trends through Social Mobile Applications – Instagram, Snapchat, Tinder
Anastazja Wołowiec, M.A., University of Economics in Krakow,
Globalization of Services – Business Process Offshoring and Outsourcing
The prizes were awarded to the winners on May 20, 2016, during the National Didactic Conference organized by the Institute of Foreign Trade at the Faculty of
Economics of the University of Gdańsk.
The supervisors of the awarded theses received commemorative diplomas.
