First Edition – 2014

For the first edition of the competition, the following master's theses defended in the academic year 2014/2015 were submitted at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk:

Natalia Wojczulanis, M. A., The Intercultural Dimension of Human Resource Management in the Enterprise, supervisor: Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, PhD

Dorota Kulawczuk, M. A., The Development of Polish Art Market, supervisor: Hanna Treder, Associate Professor

Adrian Ciesielski, M. A., The Role of Central Banks in Sustaining the Stability of the European Union's Financial System, supervisor: Hanna Treder, Associate Professor

Katarzyna Puzdrowska, M. A., The Artwork as an Alternative to International Capital Investments, supervisor: Bohdan Jeliński, Professor

 

The Faculty Competition Committee conducted a qualification process, from which two theses, M. A. Adrian Ciesielski's and M. A. Katarzyna Puzdrowska's, were selected for the national competition stage.

 

Following the competition's outcome, among the twelve master's theses submitted by all academic institutions, the following theses received the highest ratings from the reviewers:

 

1st Prize – a reward of 5000 PLN: Adrian Ciesielski, M.A., University of Gdańsk,
The Role of Central Banks in Sustaining the Stability of the European Union's Financial System

2nd Prize – a reward of 3000 PLN: Jan Żelazny, M.A., University of Łódź,
Financialization of Commodity Markets

3rd Prize – a reward of 2000 PLN: Adam Gąsiorek, M.A., University of Economics in Katowice,
The Impact of the 2007+ Global Financial Crisis on the Integration Process within the European Economic and Monetary Union – An Attempt at Evaluation

 

The prizes were awarded to the winners on October 9, 2015, during the National Didactic Conference organized by the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź. The supervisors of the awarded theses received commemorative diplomas.
