Third Edition - 2016

For the third edition of the competition, the following master's theses defended in the academic year 2015/2016 were submitted at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk:

Sebastian Rutkowski, M.A., State Aid of the Russian Federation for State-Owned Enterprises: A Case Study of the Energy and Civil Aviation Sectors, supervisor: Magdalena Mosionek-Schweda, PhD

Justyna Próchniak, M.A., Trademark as a Component of Protecting Competitiveness Enterprises, supervisor: Joanna Bednarz, Associate Professor

Krystian Elgert, M.A., The Functioning of Virtual Monetary Systems, supervisor: Danuta Marciniak-Neider, Professor

 

The Faculty Competition Committee's qualification process selected two theses for the national stage: M.A. Krystian Elgert's thesis and M.A. Sebastian Rutkowski's thesis.

Due to the competition's outcome, among the thirteen master's theses submitted by all academic institutions, the following theses received the highest ratings from the reviewers:

1st Prize – a reward of 5000 PLN: Krystian Elgert, M.A., University of Gdańsk,
The Functioning of Virtual Monetary Systems, supervisor: Danuta Marciniak-Neider, Professor

2nd Prize – a reward of 3000 PLN: Aleksandra Gomułka, M.A., University of Economics in Wrocław,
Outsourcing as an Economic Phenomenon in India from 2004 to 2014, supervisor: Bogusława Drelich-Skulska, Professor

3rd Prize – a prize of 2000 PLN: Katarzyna Wysocka, M.A., University of Economics in Poznań,
Consumer Preferences in Poland and Spain for Foreign Products, supervisor: Małgorzata Bartosik-Purgat, Associate Professor

The prizes will be awarded to the winners on May 31, 2017, during the National Didactic Conference organized by the University of Economics in Poznań.
