Study visit at FLEX company on the Supply Chain Day
On April 10, 2025, as part of the celebrations of the Supply Chain Day, members of the Logistics Students’ Club took part in a study visit to the FLEX company in Tczew. The meeting was organized with the aim of broadening knowledge and familiarizing students with modern solutions used in contemporary logistics and production processes.
FLEX is an international company specializing in advanced manufacturing and the provision of comprehensive logistics services, operating in numerous industries on the global market. The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the operations of one of the most modern production and warehouse facilities, where innovative technologies and solutions in automation and process digitization are implemented on a daily basis.
During the meeting, students had the chance to closely observe the work of autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robotics (cobots), as well as technologies related to artificial intelligence and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), which support real-time monitoring and management of logistics processes. The presented technologies not only enhance the operational efficiency of the company but also improve the safety and quality of the processes carried out.
The visit also included discussions on current logistics challenges, the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, and the importance of flexibility and innovation in a rapidly changing business environment. Students had the opportunity to exchange experiences with FLEX employees and gain insight into the specifics of working in a modern logistics setting.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to FLEX for their openness, professionalism, and warm welcome.
Events like this provide students with a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration, helping them better understand the practical aspects of logistics and prepare for the challenges they will face in their future professional careers.
