- All qualified students must complete a study program appropriate to their field/specialisation and be approved in the Learning Agreement (LA) for at least 30 ECTS points/semester).
- The Learning Agreement is completed only after qualifying for the mobility, but no later than the end of June (in the case of mobility for the winter semester) and by December 15 (in the case of mobility for the summer semester). Remember that a properly prepared LA document is necessary for signing a scholarship agreement with the University of Gdańsk.
After qualifying for an Erasmus+ mobility to a given university
- A complete set of documents, including signed Scholarship Forms and recruitment protocols, are forwarded to the Erasmus+ International Office.
- After the list of accepted persons is announced, the Erasmus+ International Office in the Rector's Office contacts the students.
- The Erasmus+ International Office will inform the partner university of your mobility qualification.
- Be sure to attend the information meeting organised by the Erasmus+ International Office for students who qualified for mobility on the specified date.
- Some universities require candidates to complete the Transcript of Records form (a list of previous credits and exams), which must be completed independently and submitted to the Dean's office for confirmation. A certificate of previous exam results obtained at the University of Gdańsk (Transcript of Records) is completed only if the host university explicitly expects such a document to be sent.
- Some universities also require a language certificate or proof of foreign language knowledge.
- Think about the offer of courses you want to study at a foreign university. Each subject should be assigned a specific number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). The Erasmus Program requires obtaining at least 30 ECTS per semester. You can additionally choose subjects that interest you from other Faculties/Institutes at the host university, as well as take advantage of the language course offer (max. 6 ECTS points). Remember, however, that courses consistent with your field of study should constitute the majority of your study program, both in terms of the number of subjects and the number of ECTS.
- Consult the choice of courses with the Erasmus+ coordinator and complete and sign the Learning Agreement document.
- Before departure, sign the scholarship implementation agreement with the University of Gdańsk (Erasmus+ International Office).
- This obligation must be fulfilled by the end of June (in the case of departure for the winter semester) and by December 15 (in the case of departure for the summer semester). Remember that a properly prepared LA document is necessary for signing the scholarship agreement with the University of Gdańsk.
- ATTENTION! Changes to the program accepted by the Coordinators, occurring in the first month of the student's studies, cannot result in the approval of a program for less than 30 ECTS/semester.
