STT Staff Training Mobilities
STT Training Mobilities for University of Gdańsk Staff under the Erasmus+ Programme in the Academic Year 2026/2027
STT Recruitment Rules
University of Gdańsk employees, including both academic and administrative staff, may participate in the recruitment process for STT training mobilities under the Erasmus+ Programme.
Recruitment for STT training mobilities in the academic year 2026/2027 is conducted through two channels:
- Faculty recruitment - for staff employed by faculties.
- Central recruitment - for staff employed in central administration units and other university-wide units.
An employee must submit application documents through the recruitment procedure corresponding to their primary place of employment. It is not permitted to apply simultaneously through both faculty and central recruitment channels.
STT training mobilities may be undertaken as part of training activities organized by foreign institutions or within a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in an EU Member State or in Erasmus+ Programme-associated third countries, namely Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Türkiye, and Serbia.
Funding may be awarded for a mobility lasting from 2 to a maximum of 5 consecutive days, with the possibility of adding additional travel days.
In the case of a BIP, the mobility must last exactly 5 days, with the possibility of additional travel days.
Within all faculty-level calls, an employee may participate in a maximum of two mobilities during the 2026/2027 academic year.
For academic staff, this limit includes both STT training mobilities and STA teaching mobilities. For administrative staff, the limit applies to STT training mobilities only.

STT Application Documents
List of Required Documents
- Appendix No. 1 - Application for Erasmus+ Training Mobility Funding, signed by the applicant and their direct supervisor.
- Appendix No. 2 - Staff Mobility for Training (Mobility Programme), signed by the applicant, the sending institution (including the direct supervisor's signature), and the host institution.
- Appendix No. 3 - Basic and Additional Recruitment Criteria, signed by the applicant.
Incomplete applications or applications lacking the required signatures will not be considered during the evaluation process.
Evaluation of Applications
- The Faculty Application Evaluation Committee decides on the allocation of funding within the number of Erasmus+ STT places granted to the Faculty.
- Applications will be assessed according to uniform criteria specified in Appendix No. 3.
- Funding will be allocated according to a ranking list based on the number of points obtained. The Committee is responsible for calculating scores and preparing the ranking list.
- STT applications receiving the highest scores will be funded within the number of mobility places allocated to the Faculty for a given semester.
- If more than one application occupies the same ranking position and this would exceed the allocated quota, the final decision rests with the Committee or the Dean.
- If a Committee member submits an application, it is assessed without that member’s participation in the Committee’s deliberations.
- The Committee may decide not to grant funding to an application and to subsequent applications placed on the reserve list.
- If, during Round I, fewer applications are submitted than the number of mobilities allocated to the Faculty, an additional recruitment round may be organized once per semester. Documentation from such recruitment must be submitted to BWiU at least two weeks before the planned mobility.
- Mobilities not used in Round I are added to the pool available in Round II and may be carried out in the summer semester.
Announcement of Results
Successful applicants and candidates placed on the reserve list will be informed by email:
- by 24 September 2026 for the winter semester,
- by 12 February 2027 for the summer semester.
Selected employees will subsequently receive information from BWiU regarding registering their mobility in the BWZE system. They will then be required to submit a foreign travel request through the Employee Portal, sign the financial agreement before departure, and complete the mobility settlement procedure in accordance with BWiU regulations.
Additional Information
- Participation in language courses under STT mobility may not take place more frequently than once every two years.
- An Erasmus+ grant may not cover costs already financed or to be financed from other EU funding sources or from a training fund.
- Mobility activities may not be carried out during annual leave, parental leave, childcare leave, sick leave, health leave, or unpaid leave.
- Starting a mobility without signing the agreement or failing to complete the required settlement procedure will result in an obligation to return the funds and the reallocation of funding to candidates on the reserve list.
- Changes to a mobility may concern only the mobility dates within the same recruitment round and require written approval from the supervisor, faculty coordinator, and host institution.
