This is the third edition of the LSEG Research Grant Competition, an initiative created through the cooperation of the Faculty of Economics UG and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).

Do you like to analyze, look for an explanation, draw conclusions? Are you interested in scientific research? Are you a student of the Faculty of Economics of UG? We invite you to participate in the LSEG Research Grant Competition!

PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION

Our common goal of University and Business is to promote knowledge and science. Through the LSEG Research Grant Competition, we want to encourage ambitious students to expand their competencies by conducting a comprehensive scientific research on a topic of their choice (see former projects' titles).

 

RESEARCH GRANT

The best projects will be awarded! The amount of the grant funded by LSEG is PLN 6,000.00 gross for individual projects and PLN 10,000.00 gross for group projects*. The total prize pool is 50,000.00 PLN gross.

*Group is a maximum of 3 people, the amount of the grant is to be divided by the participants.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

January 15, 2025 - Submission of the competition application

January 20, 2025 - Results of the first stage

April 21, 2025 - Preparation of presentation/poster and possibly article or extended abstract*.

May 2025 - Presentations of results

June 2025 - Awards

* As declared in the competition application.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  • The competition is intended for students of the Faculty of Economics of UG.
  • However, the competition is not open to the winners of last year's competition.
  • The competition is not open to students who are also employees of UG or LSEG.
