Economics: Innovations in Economy (in Polish)

 

 

The graduate possesses knowledge in the following areas:

  • Fundamentals of innovation theory,
  • The role of innovation in the global economy and its significance for the economic development of countries and regions,
  • Innovative economic sectors,
  • Innovative enterprises, including mechanisms for their creation and development,
  • Programs and tools supporting innovation through national and regional innovation policies, as well as operational and development programs of the European Union, including structural funds, instruments of the Lisbon Strategy, and programs for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The graduate acquires skills in:

  • Analyzing the role of innovation at the levels of enterprises, regions, countries, and the global economy by applying theoretical concepts and practical experiences of selected entities,
  • Critically evaluating innovative economic phenomena and proposing solutions to problems in selected areas of expertise,
  • Distinguishing between traditional and innovative economic behaviors within enterprises and regions,
  • Creating a business plan for a new company and taking subsequent steps in the establishment and development of an innovative venture,
  • Communicating effectively in groups and performing teamwork, enhanced by the significant emphasis on activating classes and practical workshops.
  • Learning Outcomes

The acquired learning outcomes enable graduates to:

  • Work within the knowledge-based economy and establish their own innovative enterprises. (The specialization program meets the education standards for the field of Economics, supplemented by additional qualifications defined in collaboration with the management of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.)
