The unique opportunity for first-year International Business BA Students

First-year students of the International Business Bachelor's program at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdansk, can apply for the opportunity to earn a Double Diploma by studying at Parthenope University of Naples (PUN) in Italy during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Overview of the Double Degree Program

The University of Gdansk (UG) and Parthenope University of Naples (PUN) have established a Double Degree Program for students pursuing the following Bachelor’s degrees:

• International Business (UG)
• International Business Administration and Management (PUN) (https://international.uniparthenope.it/)

By participating in this program, students can earn two Bachelor’s degrees (one from each university), provided they meet the academic and program requirements specified by both institutions in line with Double Diploma agreement.

Program Details

Duration: Students will spend two semesters at PUN in the academic year 2026/2027
Courses:  The subjects to be studied at PUN are pre-determined in Double Diploma agreement and offer the highest adequacy of the programs, therefore cannot be changed by the student.

Eligibility and Requirements

1. Maximum number of participants: Each year, up to 5 students from UG
2. Language: English proficiency at a minimum B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
   Accepted proof of proficiency includes:

• Internationally or nationally recognized language certificates (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge).
• Successful completion of an English language exam as part of the academic program at their home university.

3. Financial Responsibilities:
   Exchange students will cover the following costs independently:

• Accommodation
• Transportation
• Food and daily expenses
• Health and travel insurance
• Medical treatment
• Other personal expenses

Financial Support: The Erasmus+ program guarantees financial support for the winter semester 2026/2027 and possible extension for summer semester 2026/2027

Erasmus+ scholarship for Italy (group 1) is 670 EUR/month.

Application Process

1. Dates of application: from 13.02.2026 till 21.02.2026
2. The necessary application documents:
   should be sent to the following e-mail address: urszula.mrzyglod@ug.edu.pl by February 21, 2026 at 23.59.
3. Dates of online interviews: between February 23 and 25, 2026 via MS Teams
4. Results: February, 26, 2026, at 10.00 am
5. From 06.03. by 09.03.2026, 10:00 a.m. (Follow the Erasmus + mobility rules) - deadline for submitting the scholarship form (Forms | Wydział Ekonomiczny Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego; note that the Scholarship form is not the same form as the previously submitted Recruitment form).
