CE4CE - „Public Transport Infrastructure in Central Europe - facilitate transitioning to circular economy”
The University of Gdańsk is implementing the project:
CE4CE "Public Transport Infrastructure in Central Europe – Facilitating the Transition to a Circular Economy"
Public transport helps reduce emissions, but it still requires substantial resource inputs and generates waste and pollution. The CE4CE project aims to reduce the environmental footprint of public transport by applying circular economy principles. Project partners will identify gaps and develop innovative circular economy models for public transport planners and operators. Guidelines will also be created on how to incorporate circular economy principles into service and infrastructure procurement processes.
