Marine ichthyology

Marine ichthyology

Task III, "Marine ichthyology", carried out by the Marine Station WOiG UG, is a practical course aimed at familiarising participants, who are students and PhD students of higher education institutions, with the biology and ecology of the Baltic ichthyofauna, methods of its study and the impact of anthropogenic threats and climate change on the state of its resources. A large number of practical classes carried out in the coastal zone of the Gulf of Gdańsk will allow course participants to use the knowledge acquired during lectures and acquire practical competencies in the field research organisation and operation of various types of sampling tools and measuring devices. Another group of course recipients will be people following online reports from classes on the beach.
