Winter Semester 2026/2027 at Kobe University, Japan
For IB and L&M students only
Under the cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, and Kobe University (KU), Japan, we are pleased to invite applications from:
- 2nd-year Bachelor’s students of International Business (IB) – for the 5th semester (Winter 2026/27)
- Master’s students of International Business (IB) and Logistics and Mobility (L&M) – for the 3rd semester (Winter 2026/27)
to complete part of their studies at Kobe University.
Participation in the programme does not include any scholarship or financial support from the University of Gdańsk. Students admitted to the programme are required to cover all costs related to their stay in Japan, including travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
The application deadline is March 27, 2026, at 15:00.

Selection criteria
The recruitment process is qualitative and focuses on assessing the overall readiness of the student to undertake studies in a demanding international environment.
In particular, the following will be considered:
- GPA from the most recent semester (as an initial screening criterion),
- level of motivation and alignment of the exchange with the student’s academic profile and interests,
- independence, maturity, and ability to adapt to new cultural and educational environments,
- communication skills and readiness to function in an international setting,
- overall attitude and ability to represent the International Business programme abroad.
Selected candidates will be invited for a short interview. Interviews will take place between March 30 and April 1, 2026, via the MS Teams platform.
