The unique opportunity for first-year International Business BA Students
First-year students of the International Business Bachelor's program at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdansk, can apply for the opportunity to earn a Double Diploma by studying at Parthenope University of Naples (PUN) in Italy during the 2025/2026 academic year.
Overview of the Double Degree Program
The University of Gdansk (UG) and Parthenope University of Naples (PUN) have established a Double Degree Program for students pursuing the following Bachelor’s degrees:
- International Business (UG)
- International Business Administration and Management (PUN) (https://international.uniparthenope.it/)
By participating in this program, students can earn two Bachelor’s degrees (one from each university), provided they meet the academic and program requirements specified by both institutions in line with Double Diploma agreement.
Program Details
Duration: Students will spend two semesters at PUN in the academic year 2025/2026
Courses: The subjects to be studied at PUN are pre-determined in Double Diploma agreement and offer the highest adequacy of the programs, therefore cannot be changed by the student.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Maximum number of participants: Each year, up to 5 students from UG
- Language: English proficiency at a minimum B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
Accepted proof of proficiency includes:- Internationally or nationally recognized language certificates (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge).
- Successful completion of an English language exam as part of the academic program at their home university.
- Financial Responsibilities:
Exchange students will cover the following costs independently:- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Food and daily expenses
- Health and travel insurance
- Medical treatment
- Other personal expenses
Financial Support: The Erasmus+ program guarantees financial support for the winter semester 2025/2026.
Erasmus+ scholarship for Italy (group 1) is 670 EUR/month.

Important Note for Summer Semester 2025/2026
- Erasmus+ funding for the summer semester is not guaranteed.
- The National Erasmus+ Agency makes the decision on extending Erasmus+ support.
- If no additional funding is provided, students will need to cover the costs of their stay independently.
- Lack of Erasmus+ support cannot be used as a reason to resign from participation in the summer semester.

- Dates of application: from 06.02.2025 till 23.02.2025
- The necessary application documents:
should be sent to the following e-mail address: renata.orlowska@ug.edu.pl by February 23, 2025 at 23.59. - Dates of interviews: between February 24 and 26, 2025
- Results: February, 27, 2025.
