LSEG Research Grant Competition
This is the third edition of the LSEG Research Grant Competition, an initiative created through the collaboration of the UG Faculty of Economics and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).
Do you like to analyse, seek explanations and draw conclusions? Are you interested in scientific research? Are you a student of the Faculty of Economics of UG? We invite you to participate in the LSEG Research Grant Competition!
GOAL OF THE COMPETITION
Our common goal, University and Business, is to promote knowledge and science. Through the LSEG Research Grant Competition, we want to encourage ambitious students to expand their competences by conducting a comprehensive scientific research on a topic of their choice.
RESEARCH GRANT
The best projects will be awarded! The amount of the grant funded by LSEG is PLN 6,000.00 gross for individual projects and PLN 10,000.00 gross for group projects*. The total prize pool is PLN 50,000.00 gross.
*Group is max 3 people, the amount of the grant is to be shared by the participants.
IMPORTANT DATES
15 January 2025 - Submission of the competition application
20 January 2025 - Results of the first stage
21 April 2025 - Preparation of presentation/poster and possibly article or extended abstract*.
May 2025 - Presentation of results
June 2024 - Presentation of awards
* As declared in the competition application.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
- The competition is intended for students of the Faculty of Economics of UG.
- However, the competition is not open to the winners of last year's edition.
- The competition is not open to students who are also employees of UG or LSEG.

- Find a mentor
- Fill in the competition application
