Internships abroad for UG Researchers

Opportunity to receive funding for a research internship lasting several weeks in one of the research groups at universities belonging to the SEA-EU alliance.

For:

- early-career researchers,

- researchers who have earned a Ph.D. within the last 7 years,

- Ph.D. students.

Support for researchers is provided under the “Early Career Researcher” program.

The “Early Career Researcher” program provides funding for international research internships at one of the SEA-EU partner universities. Funding is available for stays lasting 10 to 60 days, which must be completed by September 25, 2026.

Application deadline: August 31, 2026, or until all spots are filled

The internship must take place on the campus of one of the SEA-EU partner universities:

University of Cádiz (Spain), University of Western Brittany (France), Christian Albrecht University of Kiel (Germany), University of Split (Croatia), the University of Malta (Malta), as well as at the universities that joined the alliance in 2023: the University of Algarve (Portugal), the Parthenope University of Naples (Italy), and Nord University (Norway).

A prerequisite for participation is the use of research infrastructure at a university registered in the research capacity database.
