Catalogue of Good Practices for Counteracting Undesirable Behaviours at the University of Gdańsk

We invite you to read the publication “Catalogue of Good Practices for Counteracting Undesirable Behaviours at the University of Gdańsk”, prepared by the Office of the Ombudsperson for Equal Treatment and Anti-Mobbing at the University of Gdańsk and made available in May 2026.

The publication is a practical guide for employees, students and doctoral students of the University of Gdańsk. Its aim is to support the academic community in recognising and counteracting undesirable behaviours such as mobbing, discrimination, communication abuse, interpersonal conflicts, abuse of position and violations of ethical principles.

The catalogue discusses, among other things, definitions and examples of undesirable behaviour, available forms of protection and support, procedures for reporting irregularities, and the stages of explanatory proceedings. The document also contains information on preventive, educational and support activities, principles for protecting mental and physical well-being, as well as the most important documents, contact details and equality initiatives operating at the University of Gdańsk.

The document will be regularly updated. We encourage the entire UG academic community to download and read the publication, available in Polish and English.
