Faculty of Economics Student Wins the National Sigma Challenge Competition

We are pleased to announce that Paweł Urbaniak, a third-year student of International Economic Relations at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, specializing in International Marketing, has become a laureate of the nationwide Sigma Challenge competition, organized by PWN Scientific Publishers and the XYZ.pl news portal.

Sigma Challenge is a prestigious competition that tests the knowledge of students from across Poland in a wide range of disciplines. Participants compete by completing a demanding test covering diverse areas of knowledge.

The award ceremony took place at the Belvedere Restaurant in Warsaw. The event brought together representatives of academia, laureates from across the country, and public officials, including the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education. The gala also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas between talented young people and representatives of the academic and business communities.

As the laureate emphasizes:

“I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to take part in next year’s edition. Thanks to the wide variety of topics, everyone can find a category perfectly suited to their interests and compete for victory.”

We warmly congratulate Paweł Urbaniak on this achievement and wish him continued academic and professional success.
