Open Day of the Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk warmly invites all secondary school students together with their teachers, as well as individuals who would like to visit us on their own, to the Open Day of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, which will take place on 25 March 2026 at the University of Gdańsk Campus in Sopot.

If you are graduating from secondary school this year and wondering which field of study to choose, or if you are completing your Bachelor’s degree and would like to begin a Master’s programme, then… visit us on our Open Day!

We have planned an exciting day together. Here is what awaits you:

1. Economic Hyde Park (9:00–14:00) – an information corner located in the lobby at the entrance to the Faculty of Economics. Everything about studying and student life across various specialisations, as well as an opportunity to talk with our students :)
2. Facts and myths about the admissions process (9:30–13:30) – direct consultations with representatives of the Faculty Admissions Committee, who will answer questions regarding, for example, required documents and application deadlines.
3. Meetings with the Vice-Deans and programme coordinators (11:00–11:30 in Lecture Hall B and 13:00–13:30 in Lecture Hall A)
   What can you study at the Faculty of Economics? Choose the best option for you! Discover the full range of specialisations offered within the Economics and International Economic Relations programmes. Presentations of English-language programmes are also planned.
4. Tour de Faculty – visit the Economic Hyde Park and join a dynamic tour of the Faculty of Economics together with our students!
   See lecture halls, laboratories, the dean’s office, the student zone created within the framework of the Academic Participatory Budget, and many other interesting places :)

5. “Become an analyst. How to deal with economic and financial data in real time” – workshops in the laboratory of the London Stock Exchange Group, one of the world’s largest stock exchanges.
    
   Workshop times:
   9:00–9:20, 9:30–9:50, 10:00–10:20, 10:30–10:50, 13:00–13:20, 13:30–13:50

6. Field game: Economic QR Code Hunt – visit the Economic Hyde Park, solve puzzles and challenges, collect stamps, and win prizes!
7. Nobel Laureates Gallery at the Faculty of Economics – discover interesting facts about the laureates of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, answer questions and win prizes.

9. Our speciality: hop-on – hop-off lectures
