World Bank Group Internship Program “WBG Pioneers” - Invitation for Students and Graduates

The World Bank Group has launched a new internship program, WBG Pioneers, aimed at students and recent graduates who would like to gain practical experience in international development projects. Internships are offered in Washington, D.C., as well as in World Bank regional offices worldwide.
The program is open to candidates specialising in a wide range of fields, including economics, investments, public health, education, nutrition, demography, social sciences, agriculture, environmental protection, engineering, urban planning, natural resource management, private sector development, as well as accounting, communication, human resources, IT, and finance.
Interns will have the opportunity to actively contribute to ongoing World Bank projects and learn how the institution supports global development goals. Internships are paid on an hourly basis, while accommodation must be arranged independently by participants.
The application deadline is 17 February 2026.
Interested students are also invited to attend online information sessions, where they can learn more about eligibility requirements, the application process, and ways to make an impact through the program.
