EU Careers Ambassadors 2025-2026 at the University of Gdańsk

We are proud to announce that students of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, Bartosz Sułkowski and Paweł Ramotowski, have been selected by the Department of the Committee for European Affairs of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (DKSE KPRM) to participate in the next edition of the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) program – "EU Careers Ambassadors" – as EU Careers Ambassadors at the University of Gdańsk for the academic year 2025-2026.

The role of an ambassador is to promote careers in EU institutions at their university. Their duties include participating in training courses organized by EPSO, presenting information to students interested in working within the EU, and engaging in promotional activities on social media. English language skills are also crucial, as ongoing contact with EPSO is in English.

The nominations were announced on April 28, 2025. At the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, our EU Career Ambassadors participated in training as part of the EU Career Ambassadors Program, in cooperation with EPSO, at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

"We are pleased that students of the Faculty of Economics are involved in initiatives with a European dimension that develop their competences and strengthen the image of the University of Gdańsk as a university open to international cooperation," emphasizes the Vice-Dean for Development and Cooperation of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, dr Magdalena Markiewicz.

According to our students, Bartosz Sułkowski and Paweł Ramotowski: "It was an inspiring two-day meeting full of conversations, exchange of experiences, and ideas for new initiatives. The Ambassadors discussed the best methods for promoting employment in EU institutions among students from over 70 universities across Poland. We have many interesting projects ahead of us, promoting careers in European Union institutions!"

We sincerely congratulate them and hope for fruitful training and lectures at the University of Gdansk!
