FoE students participated in the Blended Intensive Programme Lifelong Learning on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in Naples

From June 16 to 20, 2025, two students from the Faculty of Economics – Maciej Wesołowski and Mateusz Tomczak – took part in the international educational initiative Blended Intensive Programme – Lifelong Learning on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems, hosted by Parthenope University in Naples. The programme combined various forms of learning: online meetings, an intensive week of on-site classes in Italy, and project work in international student teams.

During the course, participants had the opportunity to attend lectures by experts from different countries who shared their experiences in building innovation ecosystems around the world. Among the speakers was Dr. Agata Olechnowicz-Szewczyk from the University of Gdańsk, who delivered a lecture entitled Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystems in the Polish Context, highlighting not only key economic data but also inspiring success stories of innovative Polish companies.

The programme also included hands-on experiences: students visited the SPICI innovation hub and the Cartastorie museum, which demonstrates how cultural heritage can serve as a foundation for modern solutions. The final part of the programme was dedicated to the presentation of group projects developed by students throughout the duration of the course.
