A visit by representatives of the British University in Egypt

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from the British University in Egypt: Prof. Dalia El Mosallamy, Finance Specialism Coordinator, and Prof. Madiha Metawie, Director of the M.Sc. Programme and Marketing Subject Specialism Coordinator. Both professors represent the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics & Political Science and visited as part of our ongoing collaboration under the Erasmus+ programme.

Prof. Dalia El Mosallamy delivered an insightful lecture to our International Business students, offering an overview of business, investment practices, and investment portfolio management from an Egyptian perspective. The session provided a valuable opportunity for our students to broaden their understanding of international markets.

We also held a series of constructive meetings focused on developing future joint initiatives in the areas of finance and marketing. Discussions involved members of our Faculty of Economics, including Prof. Leszek Czerwonka, Deputy Dean for Research; Dr. Magdalena Markiewicz, Deputy Dean for Development and Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Environment; Prof. Anna Blajer-Gołębiewska, Supervisor of Financial Modules; Prof. Joanna Bednarz, Head of the Department of International Business; and Dr. Marek Reysowski, from the Department of International Business, Division of Marketing Strategies.

The collaboration within our universities was initiated as a part of the Erasmus+ programme, so our guests also met with Dr. Agata Olechnowicz-Szewczyk, one of our Erasmus+ Coordinators.

We would like to thank Prof. El Mosallamy and Prof. Metawie for their valuable contributions to our academic community and for the engaging, thought-provoking discussions during their visit.

International collaboration plays a crucial role in advancing knowledge exchange, enriching academic perspectives, and strengthening meaningful partnerships across institutions.
