Visit of professors of the Faculty of Economics UG to universities in Egypt
We are pleased to announce that the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdansk has established cooperation with the British University in Egypt and the Future University in Egypt in a joint project coordinated by Prof. Anna Blajer-Gołębiewska, Prof. Joanna Bednarz from the Faculty of Economics and Dr Arkadiusz Kozłowski from the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdansk.
The visit included lectures for MBA and Master's students, and meetings with academic staff from both universities. Prof. Joanna Bednarz gave lectures on consumer behaviour and international marketing, as well as workshops using the Design Thinking method. Anna Blajer-Gołębiewska, Ph.D., Professor UG, gave a lecture on business valuation methods and presented her research results in the field of behavioural finance. Dr Arkadiusz Kozłowski lectured on data analysis in the R programme.
The meetings with academics from Egyptian universities mainly aimed to exchange teaching and research experiences. Meetings with university authorities to plan further academic cooperation, including joint research projects, publications, and mobility initiatives, were also an important part of the programme.
The visit was realised thanks to a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme and was an important step in building long-term partnerships with universities in Egypt. It was also an expression of the active involvement of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Management UG in the development of international academic cooperation.
