European Volunteer in Bremen

A one-year internship at the Department of International Relations and Development Cooperation of the Senate Chancellery in Bremen

 

The Bremen Senate Chancellery has received accreditation as a host organisation for the European Solidarity Corps in 2022. This means that a European volunteer from one of the following partner cities Gdańsk, Riga, Haifa, Odessa or Izmir can work for one year in the International Relations and Development Cooperation Department of the Senate Chancellery Bremen.

 

The call is open: The Bremen Senate Chancellery is looking for for a young person who would like to come to Bremen for 1 year and work with us as a volunteer in the period September 08, 2025 – August 31, 2026Application deadline is March 02, 2025.

 

Interested persons can apply if they...

- have a place of residence in the cities of Gdańsk, Riga, Haifa, Izmir or Odessa or are in some way connected to one of these cities.

- are between 18 and 30 years old.

- can communicate in English (B2 or above) and/or German (A2 or above) and are willing to improve their foreign language skills.

- have a high level of motivation, a desire for self-development and a willingness to work with different age groups.

- are open-minded and motivated to work in a team and with people of different religious, cultural and social backgrounds.
