About the project
The Orange Academy of Uni-Logistics is a unique educational program jointly conducted by the Department of Transport Policy and Economic Integration at the University of Gdańsk and the company Uni-Logistics. Launched in 2011, the project is aimed at students specializing in transport and logistics and has enjoyed immense popularity from the very beginning.
Through the Orange Academy, students have the opportunity to participate in classes led by experienced practitioners from Uni-Logistics, who work at various stages of the supply chain. This allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of logistics processes, familiarize themselves with the specifics of working in transport and logistics-related positions, and prepare for their future careers, including the recruitment process itself.
Classes take place both at the Faculty of Economics building of the University of Gdańsk and off-campus, including visits to Uni-Logistics headquarters, customs agencies, terminals, and warehouses. The program provides a unique opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in a real-world transport and logistics environment. At the end of each edition of the project, students receive a certificate of completion.
Enrollment for the Academy is available as part of the elective course "Practical Knowledge Academy" with Dr. D. Książkiewicz.
