History of the Sopot Conferences

Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdansk in 2021 joined the group of organizers of cyclic scientific conferences EuroTrans, held in previous years in Szczecin and Warsaw, and from 2022 also in Sopot.

The EuroTrans conference is a continuation of meetings organized in Sopot since 1992 (under the names: TranSopot, GlobMar and Modelling of logistic processes). The conference is devoted to the directions of the transport sector development. Its aim is to exchange views and discuss contemporary directions of transport development, promote research results and discuss new research directions as well as to integrate scientific communities and the business practitioners from the transport, forwarding and logistics sector (TSL sector).
