“Active Local Government 2026” Programme – Support for Students with Disabilities
The Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Sopot informs students about the possibility of receiving financial support under the “Active Local Government 2026” programme (Aktywny samorząd 2026), one of the aims of which is to support people with disabilities in obtaining higher education.
Support is available to people with a severe, moderate or mild degree of disability who are studying at a higher education institution, post-secondary school or college, as well as to doctoral candidates pursuing a doctorate outside a doctoral programme.
Under Module II of the programme, applicants may receive, among other forms of support:
- tuition fee funding,
- an allowance to cover education-related costs.
Applications may be submitted until 10 October 2026 via the online Support Service System (SOW). Applicants who are digitally excluded may submit a paper application.
The programme is funded by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON).
