NBP President’s Award for the Best Master’s Thesis – 18th Edition

The National Bank of Poland invites applications for the 18th edition of the NBP President’s Award competition for the best Master’s thesis in economic sciences.

The aim of the competition is to foster students’ interest in macroeconomics, in particular monetary policy and central banking, as well as issues related to financial system stability and the development of economic thought.

The competition is open to authors of Master’s theses defended in Poland between 1 January and 31 December 2025.

The winners will receive financial prizes:

• 1st prize – PLN 15,000 
• 2nd prize – PLN 10,000 
• 3rd prize – PLN 7,000 
• two distinctions – PLN 5,000 each 

The application deadline is 15 June 2026.
