Call for Applications: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 at the University of Lincoln
The University of Lincoln has launched the recruitment process for candidates interested in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships for 2026. This prestigious initiative attracts accomplished researchers to the United Kingdom, offering the opportunity to conduct independent research with full funding support.
The University of Lincoln is seeking to connect with scholars representing a wide range of disciplines. Particular emphasis is placed on developing projects in the fields of agriculture, defence, and artificial intelligence.
Within the programme, mentoring support is provided for interdisciplinary research projects exploring decision-making processes and human–AI interactions across diverse domains — from cognitive psychology and marketing to security and defence. A broad range of topics is welcome, and researchers interested in jointly exploring these areas are warmly encouraged to make direct contact.
Last week, the initiative was presented during an international meeting with researchers from around the world. The strong level of interest demonstrated the programme’s value for developing an independent academic career. A presentation providing detailed information about the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Lincoln is attached.
The programme places the researcher and their original idea at its core. In line with MSCA requirements, applicants must hold a doctoral degree and have no more than eight years of research experience since obtaining their PhD. A strict mobility rule also applies: candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the United Kingdom for more than 12 months within the past three years.
The programme offers an excellent opportunity to establish valuable and lasting institutional collaborations. Interested researchers are invited to complete the application form: The University of Lincoln - MSCA Form. The application deadline is 7 April 2026, 12:00 noon (GMT).
