The Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Northgate Logistics

On March 11, 2026, the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk signed a cooperation agreement with Northgate Logistics, a company operating in the transport, forwarding, and logistics (TSL) sector. The partnership aims to develop joint educational initiatives and strengthen relations between the academic community and business practice.

The agreement opens new opportunities for cooperation in educational activities and initiatives promoting knowledge about the transport, forwarding, and logistics sector. Planned initiatives include meetings between students and industry representatives, educational events, and projects supporting the development of practical competencies.

Northgate Logistics has previously collaborated with the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, supporting, among others, the National Forwarding and Logistics Olympiad, organized by the university. The competition promotes knowledge about logistics, transport, and forwarding among secondary school students from across Poland. The company has also participated in numerous academic events organized by the faculty.

The signing of the cooperation agreement marks another step in strengthening the relationship between the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk and the business community, as well as in building a platform for collaboration between the university and representatives of the TSL sector.

The meeting related to the signing of the agreement was attended, on behalf of the University of Gdańsk, by Wojciech Bizon, Dean of the Faculty of Economics; Magdalena Markiewicz, Vice-Dean for Development and Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Environment; and Leszek Reszka, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education. Representing Northgate Logistics were Anna Krzyśko-Vasković, President of the Management Board, and Katarzyna Aubrecht-Prondzińska, HR Manager.
