About the company

SKAT Transport is a transport and logistics operator specializing in road forwarding, ferry crossings, and insurance policies for carriers. The company stands out in the industry for its punctuality and modern fleet — and on the road, for its orange-colored trucks. At the moment, the company employs around 240 people. Its headquarters are located in Gdańsk, with branches in Katowice, Świecie, Łódź and Rzepin.
Many of the company’s top freight forwarders are graduates of the SKATway program, where individuals without experience are trained to work in forwarding. The program combines theoretical training with hands-on practice, and each participant is supported by an expert responsible for their onboarding. The company’s values are Strategy, Competitiveness, Aspirations and Talent.

During the meeting “The Work of a Freight Forwarder - From Theory to Practice” participants will learn about the challenges forwarders face, what distinguishes the best among them, and what steps to take to start a career in forwarding.
