The Fourth Edition of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie 2026 Polish-French Scientific Prize Launches.

The Foundation for Polish Science and the French Academy of Sciences announce the fourth edition of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie Polish-French Scientific Prize. The award is co-financed by the FNP and the Zygmunt Zaleski Foundation. Applications are open until January 15, 2026.

The aim of the award is to highlight the benefits of Polish-French scientific cooperation. This is the fourth time the award has been presented to a pair of collaborating scientists from Poland and France. The distinction recognizes their joint achievements, which contribute to strengthening scientific cooperation between the two countries.

Applications can be submitted from November 12, 2025, to January 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

The winners are selected through a competitive process by a Polish-French Jury appointed by the Foundation for Polish Science and the French Academy of Sciences. The announcement of the results and the award ceremony will take place in Paris in the fall of 2026.

The winners will each receive €15,000, including €5,000 as an individual award and €10,000 as a subsidy to continue their scientific cooperation.

Support for important scientific endeavors (such as publishing programs and conferences). The Foundation is also committed to supporting international scientific cooperation and increasing the scientific independence of the younger generation of scientists.
