Competitions for Master’s and Bachelor’s Theses – Polish Economic Society
The Polish Economic Society, Gdańsk Branch, invites participation in the 29th edition of the Master’s Thesis Competition and the 22nd edition of the Bachelor’s Thesis Competition.
The patron of the competition for the best master’s thesis is Professor Lucjan Hofman, long-time President of the Polish Economic Society in Gdańsk, an economist engaged in the development of the Gdańsk region and an invaluable expert in the field of transport economics.
The patron of the competition for the best bachelor’s thesis is Professor Witold Andruszkiewicz, President of the Polish Economic Society, Gdańsk Branch, in 1974–1980, an economist and specialist in transport, actively involved in the functioning and development of Poland’s maritime economy.
The aim of the competitions is to promote graduates of higher education institutions in the Pomeranian region by creating opportunities for cooperation with local enterprises and by supporting research on contemporary economic issues, with particular emphasis on the development of the Gdańsk region.
Eligible for submission are theses in the field of social sciences, in the disciplines of economics and finance as well as management and quality sciences. The competition includes master’s, bachelor’s, and engineering theses written in Polish or English, constituting the subject of a diploma examination at public or private universities in the Pomeranian Voivodeship and defended in the calendar year of the given edition’s announcement.
