Michał Bartoszuk, a student of the Faculty of Economics, on the podium in TCR Italy as the first driver from Poland

Michał Bartoszuk, a student of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, made history as the first Polish driver to stand on the podium in the prestigious TCR Italy racing series. This exceptional success took place during an exciting racing weekend at the legendary Monza track in Italy.

After earlier promising performances at the Vallelunga track, Michał Bartoszuk confirmed his skills also at Monza. In the first race of the weekend, he was classified thirteenth. The real breakthrough came in Sunday's race. Starting the competition from the last starting position, Michał set a phenomenal pace, and for most of the distance, he was the fastest driver on the track. Thanks to flawless driving and effective overtaking manoeuvres, he advanced and won third place on the podium.

Thus, Michał Bartoszuk not only stood on the podium of the prestigious series for the first time in his career, but also won the Rookie Trophy and Under 25 Trophy classifications.

We congratulate Michał Bartoszuk on this exceptional sporting achievement and wish him further success both on the track and in his academic life.
