Studies in the Sea-EU Alliance
MIPMAL studies are strongly connected with mobility, transport and international cooperation. By choosing this programme, students become part of the SEA-EU network of coastal universities and gain the opportunity to acquire academic and professional experience in different countries and environments. The programme includes a compulsory 12-month mobility period, during which participants become familiar with various partner institutions, organisational cultures and practical aspects of the maritime and logistics sectors.
Depending on the cohort, the first year of studies is completed either at the University of Split or at the University of Cádiz. The third semester then takes place at one of the partner universities: the University of Gdańsk, the University of Algarve or the University of Malta. The final semester is completed at a selected partner university, in line with the chosen specialisation profile. During this semester, students may follow either an academic track, which involves writing a traditional master’s thesis, or a practical track, which involves preparing a master’s thesis based on professional practice.

This structure enables students not only to gain interdisciplinary knowledge, but also to develop intercultural, language and practical competences that are particularly valued in the international labour market.
Participating countries/universities: Poland – University of Gdansk (UG), Spain – University of Cadiz (UCA), Croatia – University of Split (UNIST), Malta – University of Malta (UM), Portugal – University of Algarve (UAlg).
