"Nicolaus Copernicus - the author of the first economic treatises in Poland"
On Monday, 25 November, in Sopot, a fascinating lecture on the figure of Nicolaus Copernicus as an economist, to which we cordially invite you on behalf of the organisers: the Polish Economic Society, Gdańsk Branch and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk.
The lecture "Nicolaus Copernicus - the author of the first economic treatises in Poland" will begin on Monday, 25.11.2024, at 13:30 in Aula A at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk in Sopot.
The lecture will be given by Prof. dr hab. Mirosław Bochenek, the Polish Economic Society Award winner named after Prof. Edward Lipiński for the outstanding book: "Nicholas Copernicus or Thomas Gresham? On the History and Debate Surrounding the Law of Inferior Money". We invite students, scientists, economists and anyone interested in the history of economic thought!
