Second Edition of the Polish Academy of Sciences Competitions for the Best Master's Theses, Doctoral Dissertations, and Scientific Achievements

Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN)

The Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) invites applications for the second edition of its nationwide competitions for the best master's thesis, outstanding doctoral dissertation, and outstanding scientific achievement.

The competition for the best master's thesis is open to authors of theses in the social sciences that apply advanced statistical and econometric methods or operations research.

The deadline for submitting theses from 2026 is 31 December 2026.

The Committee has also announced competitions for young researchers for an outstanding doctoral dissertation in the social sciences and for an outstanding scientific achievement in the social sciences published after obtaining a doctoral degree.

The deadline for submitting works from 2026 in these competitions is 31 March 2027.
