Green Economy with the Faculty of Economics at the Fahrenheit Picnic again!

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, we traditionally had the pleasure of representing the Faculty of Economics at the Fahrenheit Picnic, held once again on Gradowa Hill at the Hevelianum in Gdańsk. This year's event enjoyed record attendance, with approximately 6,000 participants. 

Guests enjoyed over 80 educational stations, numerous on-stage attractions, diverse thematic zones, and the opportunity to take advantage of preventive screenings. 

This unique event was organized by three universities forming the Fahrenheit University Association: the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Medical University of Gdańsk, in cooperation with Hevelianum. 

The picnic was an excellent opportunity to show participants how interesting economics is, how much it explains and provides answers to questions about the world around us. 

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, and the coordinators and students for their energy, smiles, and preparation for this unique event, which, as every year, took place in sunny, hot weather. 

The Faculty of Economics was represented at this year's Picnic by a large group of lecturers and students. 

Lecturers involved in coordinating and organizing the "Green Economy with the Faculty of Economics" series included: 
dr Magdalena Markiewicz, dr Aleksandra Bielawska, dr Ewa Ignaciuk, and Anna Michalska-Szajer, MA. 

The students of International Economic Relations and Economics participating in the event were: 
Wiktoria Przybylska, Amelia Dolna, Aleksander Goleń, Nikodem Kowalczyk, Filip Mosiołek, Aleksandra Palesa, Adrianna Piorunowska, Oskar Pokwicki, and Aleksandra Regmunt. 

We extend special thanks to the members of the International Finance Student Research Group involved in organizing the Fahrenheit Picnic. 

It's also worth recognizing the artistic talents of our students, which made our corner a huge success.
