Faculty of Economics Student Wins the 4th Edition of ORLEN's H2 Academy

 

We are pleased to announce that Łucja Kwiatkowska, a final-semester student in the full-time Master's programme in Economics, specializing in Logistics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, has become a laureate of the 4th edition of the H2 Academy – a prestigious educational programme organized by ORLEN S.A.

The H2 Academy is designed for individuals interested in hydrogen technologies and pursuing a career in the modern energy sector. The programme combines lectures, workshops, and meetings with experts and industry professionals, enabling participants to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Held at various locations across Poland, the Academy offers a unique opportunity to explore the real-world applications of hydrogen technologies in industry.

Participants selected through a multi-stage recruitment process were tasked with developing original projects on innovative applications of hydrogen in the economy.

Łucja Kwiatkowska's project, entitled "Cryo-Logistics 2.0: A Polish Cryogenic Hub as the Foundation for Hydrogen–Helium Synergy", was recognized as one of the seven best projects of this year's edition. This achievement has opened the door for our student to begin her professional career at ORLEN S.A.

It is also worth noting that Łucja Kwiatkowska is an active member of the Logistics Student Club at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk.

The supervisor of Łucja Kwiatkowska's master's thesis is Dr Eng. Rafał Śpiewak, Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics, Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk.
