"The Semi-Professional Economics Team" Wins the “UG in Motion” Challenge!
The first edition of the “UG in Motion” challenge, organized within the Move Republic application, has successfully concluded. Over the course of one month, employees of the University of Gdańsk competed both individually and in teams, promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and the integration of the University community.
A total of 213 participants took part in the initiative, collectively completing more than 62 million steps, covering thousands of kilometres on foot and by bicycle, and achieving over 7,000 activity goals. Additional points were awarded for participation in initiatives promoting health and safety.
We are delighted to announce that the "The Semi-Professional Economics Team" secured first place in the team standings. This outstanding achievement reflects the team's commitment, sporting spirit, and excellent collaboration among members of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk.
"The Semi-Professional Economics Team" was formed by Izabela Maciukiewicz, M.A., Magdalena Kałduńska, M.A., and Daria Postek, M.A., who work in the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk.
We are delighted that such dynamic and energetic individuals can work with our students on a daily basis.
We warmly congratulate the entire team, as well as all participants in the challenge. We hope that future editions of the “Active UG” programme will continue to attract significant participation and inspire even greater sporting achievements across the University community.
