Financial Ombudsman's Summer Academy 2026 – Applications Now Open

We invite students to apply for the Financial Ombudsman's Summer Academy 2026, a free educational programme organized by the Office of the Financial Ombudsman. The Academy will take place from 24 August to 4 September 2026 in Warsaw, and participation may be recognized as a compulsory student internship, subject to the regulations of the participant's home university.

The programme includes 60 hours of workshops conducted by experts in banking, insurance, and debt-related issues. Participants will gain practical insight into consumer protection in the financial services market, work on real-life cases, and develop skills valuable for their future careers. Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate, and the best-performing students may be offered internship opportunities at the Office of the Financial Ombudsman. Free accommodation will be provided for participants from outside Warsaw.

The programme is intended primarily for students of law, economics, management, and related fields, as well as psychology. The organizers are looking for candidates interested in financial services, consumer protection, and supporting individuals facing financial difficulties.

To apply, candidates must complete the application form and submit their CV together with a short self-introduction video (up to 2 minutes). The application deadline is 8 July 2026.
