Seminar 16 June 2026: “Circular Economy (CE) in Practice: Experiences of Local Governments in the Pomeranian Voivodeship”
On behalf of the University of Gdańsk and the partners of the LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL project, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the seminar “Circular Economy (CE) in Practice: Experiences of Local Governments in the Pomeranian Voivodeship”, which will take place on 16 June 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, Sopot, 119/121 Armii Krajowej Street.
The aim of the event is to present the results of a diagnosis of the development of the circular economy (CE) in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as to identify educational and informational needs and highlight the key challenges faced by local governments in the region.
During the seminar, the results of research conducted by the University of Gdańsk and the Pomeranian Regional Development Agency S.A. will be presented.
The programme will also include:
- a presentation of the educational offer of the Circular Economy Competence Centre of the University of Gdańsk, including new postgraduate programmes dedicated to local government units;
- presentations of municipal experiences and good practices in implementing circular economy solutions;
- an overview of support activities for local governments carried out by the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the project partners;
- a discussion on recommendations and practical tools supporting the circular transition in the region.
