Workshops and Partner Meeting of the Erasmus+ SU-CCES! Project

During the week of April 19-24, 2026, we had a pleasure to co-organize a series of events as part of the Erasmus+ project Sustainable Communities & Crowdfunding Education Support (SU-CCES!). The events brought together students and partners from universities and non-governmental organizations from Poland, Norway, Austria, Greece, and Romania.

One of the key activities was a three-day workshop, during which students from partner institutions worked in international teams to design civic crowdfunding campaigns. The workshop had a highly creative character, fostering the exchange of experiences, collaborative idea development, and the strengthening of social competencies in an international environment.

Following the workshop, SU-CCES! project partners met at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk. The meeting provided an opportunity to test the digital tools developed within the project to support the design of crowdfunding campaigns, as well as to review the project’s outcomes ahead of its planned completion in September 2026.

The SU-CCES! project is co-funded by the European Union. The University of Gdańsk is implementing the project in cooperation with IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences (Austria), the University of Agder’s School of Business and Law (Norway), Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania), BISER – Baltic Institute of Regional and Economic Affairs (Poland), and the IED Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (Greece).

To date, the project has delivered a number of tangible outputs, including the report Driving Community Engagement for Sustainable Development, the handbook The Civic Crowdfunding Handbook, as well as an educational platform with a crowdfunding simulation game, which will be made available soon.

At the University of Gdańsk, the project is led by Dr. Joanna Adamska from the Department of Sustainable Market Processes. Dr. Urszula Mrzygłód from the same department is also involved in the project.
