Visit by the Konsylium Research Club to the Warsaw Stock Exchange

Members of the Konsylium Research Club took part in an educational trip to the Warsaw Stock Exchange, where they participated in the “Student Sessions on the Trading Floor” event organized by the WSE Foundation. The meeting took place in the Trading Room and provided an opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of how the capital market operates and the activities of financial institutions.

The event began with an introduction and presentation of the educational activities conducted by the Warsaw Stock Exchange Foundation, aimed at students interested in the financial market and investing.

This was followed by a lecture titled “Investment Banking: The World of IPOs, SPOs, and ABBs,” led by Izabela Mikołajczyk, Director of the Primary Market Department at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The next item on the agenda was a lecture titled “ETFs as the Ideal Wealth-Building Instrument”, delivered by Tomasz Wróbel, Sales Director at BETA ETF.

Participation in the event allowed members of the Konsylium Academic Club to expand their knowledge of how the capital market functions, financial instruments, and the processes by which companies raise capital.
