Guest Lecture by the Director of the SME Ombudsman’s Office in Gdańsk

On January 27, 2026, the Faculty of Economics welcomed Monika Kościewicz, Office Director/Field Representative of the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Gdańsk . During a lecture on Business law, the Ms Kościewicz presented the scope of the activity of the Ombudsman's Office and, using very interesting examples, demonstrated the real-world assistance that can be provided to entrepreneurs in disputes with public administration or local government institutions. 

Many cases in which the Ombudsman's involvement helped win in court involved issues related to the application of legal solutions such as Mały ZUS Plus or simply starting a business using preferential tax or social security policies.
