34th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – The Faculty of Economics Invites You to Participate

The 34th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), held under the slogan “Healthy Tummies for Our Kids”, is approaching. This year, the funds raised will support the diagnostics and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in children. The University of Gdańsk is taking part in this nationwide initiative for the sixth time, and the community of the Faculty of Economics is invited to participate actively.

Goal of This Year’s Edition

This year’s WOŚP Finale focuses on the development of paediatric gastroenterology. Gastrointestinal diseases such as coeliac disease, Crohn’s disease and food allergies affect up to 1.5 million children in Poland and often lead to developmental disorders and malnutrition. The Foundation plans to purchase modern medical equipment for centres specialising in diagnostics, treatment, and both enteral and parenteral nutrition.
