Visit of the Konsylium Science Club to the CPRP
On December 2, 2025, a study visit by the Konsylium Science Club took place at the Industrial Robot Programming Center in the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park.
We listened to a lecture on the activities of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone in Gdańsk and on the CPRP.
The first Industrial Robot Programming Center (CPRP) was established in Gdańsk in September 2019 as a joint initiative of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone and the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences in response to the needs of the labor market in the reality of Industry 4.0.
The center offered us:
- Welding in the VR welding workshop, built on the basis of Flint Systems simulators, which enables safe and realistic welding exercises in a virtual environment.
- In the robotics workshop, we controlled FANUC, KUKA, and ABB industrial robots. We also saw the workshop.
- A tour of the 3D printing workshop - with Original Prusa MK3S+ printers, where you can learn about the process of designing and producing 3D prints.
We would like to thank the organizers for an inspiring and interesting meeting.
