Department of International Business was a co-organizer of the 5th National Scientific Conference “Poland in the European Union. Report 2025”, SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

We are pleased to announce that the Department of International Business was one of the three co-organizers of the 5th National Scientific Conference “Poland in the European Union. Report 2025”. The Department was represented by Prof. Joanna Bednarz.

The main organizer of the event was the Department of European Integration and Legal Studies, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, chaired by Prof. Adam A. Ambroziak. The other co-organizers included the Department of International Economic Relations, Wrocław University of Economics and Business (Prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska), and the Department of Finance and International Investments, Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Łódź (Prof. Małgorzata Janicka).

Prof. Joanna Bednarz took part as a discussant in the first session of the conference entitled “Poland in the EU: Competition Policy” and delivered a presentation on “National Champions and the SME Sector in Poland: The Dilemma of Interdependence in the Context of Economic Competitiveness”.
