Students of the Logistics Students Club at the International Railway Fair TRAKO 2025
Members of the Logistics Students Club had the honor of representing the Faculty of Economics and the University of Gdańsk during this year’s edition of the International Railway Fair TRAKO, held on 23–26 September 2025 in Gdańsk. TRAKO is the largest event in Poland and the second largest in Europe dedicated to the railway transport sector, bringing together representatives of enterprises, institutions, the academic community, and railway enthusiasts.
A particularly important part of the fair is the Education and Career Day, which provides students and high school pupils with the opportunity to meet directly with industry representatives, learn about current development trends, and explore career opportunities in transport and logistics enterprises. For the Club’s members, participation in TRAKO was not only a valuable experience but also an opportunity to represent the University of Gdańsk in an international forum.
Participation in such events constitutes an essential element of academic development, enabling students to combine theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies with practical insights into the functioning of the transport and logistics market. The presence of the Logistics Students Club at TRAKO also confirms the growing role of the University of Gdańsk in shaping young specialists who are open to cooperation with business and prepared to actively participate in a dynamic economic environment.
The Logistics Students Club is already preparing to take part in upcoming industry events, where students will have the opportunity not only to broaden their competences but also to proudly represent their alma mater.
